Ishqiya

After being recommended by friends, I went to see Ishqiya today. Although a well made movie, I was disappointed with the story line that revolved around Vidya Balan aka Krishna's revenge on so called her attempted murder by her husband, who was leading a terrorist group sorts. Later it was figured that it was not the case and the staged murder by her husband was to avoid the regular nagging by Krishna to surrender to police and that her husband did love her after all. Still she chose to take the revenge at the end with the help of Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi, who were seduced by VB and I must say very effectively too.

VB and AW did justice to their roles although the role failed to do justice to Naseerudin Shah, although was good to see him back on the screen. Direction and music were excellent as was expected. Movie was overall okay.
